When you allow a change in your perspective, you truly change your life.
Hello! My name is Erin and I am a intuitive, medium, and a blue collar first responder. I've learned that allowing a change in perspective, some trust in yourself and having an open mind can truly rewrite your entire story.
Over the last few years I've chosen to step away from preconceived social norms and begin unapologetically questioning our human experience. You know, the whole "who am I, what makes me happy, why am I here sorta stuff." After spending the last 15 years working in various emergency services positions, I am now working on combining opposite worlds into something tangible and enlightening to open and closed minds alike.
As mentioned, I come from multiple "boots on the ground" careers including; pre-hospital EMS, firefighting, law enforcement, and the occasional emergency room. I've only previously known of 12-36 hour shifts, sleepless nights, dozens of caffeine types, and innumerable blue uniforms. I've become well versed in other people's "worst days of their lives," blood, death, destruction, and pain - all along never forgetting the priceless moments of joy, service and saved lives that have made all these gigs more then worthwhile.
Over the last decade very few people knew that I had experienced odd things on the job. I was always silently chalking these "things" up to coincidences, lack of sleep, or good ol' insanity, dismissing them as fast as they would come. Finally during one long night shift, I admitted to a coworker I thought I was physically "feeling" how people where passing and we both openly wondered if something that crazy was even possible.
After a rather difficult run of events that began in 2018, I was abruptly thrown into a new headspace that would transform the rest of my life. I didn't realize it at the time, but I had received one of the biggest opportunites while I was placed out of work and ultimately, all I had ever known. Slowly, I began letting the "eat, sleep, work" mentality to fall away, and started on my own self discovery journey. I began asking myself countless questions; What is passion and how do people find it? Follow it? What even is that word "spirituality"? What does it mean and what can it do for people? Why is it all over the internet?
Sitting in my own space and in my own thoughts for months I found answers. To be fair, I also found more questions, but I began to see myself clearly for perhaps the first time in my entire life. And not only did I meet myself, I met so many other people with similar thoughts and beliefs, some of which were in my own backyard. "Normal" people in professional groups, doctors, lawyers, and everyday business men and women that all had similar mindsets and experiences. These new stories propelled me to continue looking, to continue asking questions, and to continue finding excitement and fun in life again.
Since I began ripping these universal doors open more and more doors just keep coming off their hinges. Doors to experiences, people, mentors, careers, clients, and the ability to help change lives. Whatever the heck you want to label these experiences as, they are exactly what they need to be and so much more. If this path helps just one more person heal and recognize something in themselves, then allow the perspectives to flourish.
